Comfort From Unexpected Places
It was incredibly rare for Oboro to outright lock herself in her room whenever she was designing an outfit. While she usually did most of her sewing in her room, she often tended to spend a lot of time outside as well, whether it was sorting her fabrics, drawing up a design for an outfit, or just looking for inspiration in Hoshidan, and more recently Nohrian, culture.

But right now, though, she just wanted to be alone while she worked. She normally didn’t mind when other people came up to her, and even enjoyed talking to a lot of people in the army, but she didn’t want any distractions interrupting her work at the moment.

At first glance, one would think that she was trying to invest herself in what could possibly be her most elaborate work yet, one that would win the awe of her comrades and possibly be an inspiration for generations to come.

The truth was, though, she was trying to distract herself.

Currently, the fashionista was hunched over he

Bianca's Writing Scraps: Nozomi Writes Fanfiction
“Maki! Hey, Maki! Look what I found!”
Maki looked away from the television screen with a deadpan look on her face while Nico rushed into the room. It was nothing new for her to rush in and pester the redhead with whatever insane thing she was doing or thought up. Maki usually didn’t mind her company, but it could be distracting a lot of the time, especially when she was trying to relax.
“What is it now, Nico?” She asked, putting the Super Famicom controller down on the couch next to her.
Nico’s immediate response was to hold up a medium-small sized book with an expression like she just won the lottery. “Look! I found Nozomi’s diary!” She said, more excited than she probably should be.
Maki, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow in concern. “You… do know that she probably wouldn’t have liked you to rummage through her room, right?”
“Nah, I didn’t do that! Super idol Nico-Nii would never do that!

Bianca's Writing Scraps: A Very Smol Encounter
Nozomi couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched.
The entire time she was working at the shrine, she could feel a tiny pair of eyes gazing on her whenever she had her back turned, only for whatever it was to flee when she turned in its direction.
At first, the spiritual girl thought that it was just a stray cat, but that possibility quickly went away when she saw a flash of purple on the retreating figure.
At least now I know that whatever it is, it’s not my imagination, Nozomi said in her thoughts, giggling at the implausibility of a purple furred cat. At the same time, though, that shade of purple looks almost familiar…
Now her curiosity was piqued.  Whatever she had planned after this could wait until she found out more about her mystery guest.
Nozomi took a deep breath as a plan formulated in her mind. She changed out of her shrine maiden outfit and started to walk back to her apartment.
And just as she expected, she could feel tha

Bianca's Writing Scraps: Luck of the Party
“WHAT?! Whaddya MEAN I rolled another one?!”
Nico’s eye twitched as she glared at the third one she rolled during the current session of Mario Party 2 she was playing with the rest of µ’s (Well, three of them, anyway. The other five were on the couch behind them).  She could only watch helplessly as her character, Luigi, moved forward onto a happening space, causing him to get warped away from the island with the star on it. Again.
“Gaaaaaahhh, not AGAIN!” She growled, her grip tightening on the Gamecube controller.
A gentle laugh came at her from her left. “Don’t worry about it too much, Nicocchi,” The second player of the round, Nozomi, was looking at her with that constantly serene smile of hers. “At the rate things are going, you’ll probably win the happening star.”
“Yeah! And besides, didn’t you win most of the minigames so far?” Asked Rin, the game’s player three. “You&

Bianca's Writing Scraps: That One Stupid Shine
If there was one thing that could be said about Nico Yazawa, it was that she was never one to give up.
That being said, though, the challenge she found herself up against this time was seriously testing her patience.
She had spent the past two hours (Or was it more? She lost count by this point) playing Super Mario Sunshine, trying to get the one Shine Sprite she was never able to clear: That stupid lily pad ride stage hidden in Delfino Plaza.
Sure, getting Yoshi over to the island with the pipe was bad enough, but Nico was good enough at basic platforming that the process was nothing more than a lesson in tedium. All she really had to do at that point was just wait for the next boat so she could jump to it. The stage itself, on the other hand, was an entirely different matter.
It was bad enough that the poison water immediately killed Mario as soon as he touched it, but she had to control a lily pad through the channel with FLUDD, and once she started, trying to steer it or slow it do

Bianca's Writing Scraps: A Grand Old Time
Maki couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow as she stared at the oddity of a game that stood on the screen in front of her.
It was some kind of illegal Famicom game from China, a “bootleg”, as she heard people call it.  It tried to pass itself off as a regular Mario game, but it was obviously a rip-off of another game based off some American cartoon called “The Flintstones” (As Nozomi constantly reminded her). Not just a rip-off, in fact. Whoever made the thing literally took that game and slapped Mario’s head on the main character’s head. It was the only thing that separated this… oddity from the actual game. Heck, it was the only thing that made it even remotely related to Mario.
And then there was the title screen. It was crudely slapped together with the words “7 GRAND DAD” (Was this supposed to be about Mario’s ancestor or something?) next to a gigantic sprite that LOOKED like Mario, but it was weirdly colored and

The Life and Times of Brendan Birch
All Brendan Birch could in his current situation was take quick, shallow breaths. The last time he tried taking in a deeper one resulted in him getting a mouthful of sand. It was stupid, sure, but it was a lesson a trainer had to learn the hard way when exploring the desert on Route 111.
Right now, though, his priority wasn’t about making sure that everything he ate for the rest of the day didn’t taste like sand. Instead, it was focused on the pair of eyes peeking out of the sand, gazing directly at him.
At first glance, there really wasn’t any reason to be fixated on whatever it was. The Pokemon of the desert usually poked their heads out from time to time, such as Trapinch waiting for prey or Sandshrew when it’s trying to gauge whether or not it’s safe to leave its burrow.
What made this pair of eyes so special was the fact that Brendan’s Pokedex didn’t recognize it immediately.
The thing was, ever since May captured Kyogre and put the world

How to Make a Memory: Chapter 3: Eat or be Eaten
THE DAY AFTER…
For what was probably the 100th time this week, (She lost count after the first 30) May held a Pokemon egg in her hands.
For the past week, ever since her friend asked her to breed her a “Contest Worthy” Pokemon, May had been biking up and down the longest roads she could find with her Camerupt and a trail of eggs. And as much as she liked her Mach Bike, all the constant pedaling took a toll on her legs, tiring her out after a couple hours. And it didn’t help that she kept getting challenged to battles, which were incredibly difficult with only one Pokemon that could actually battle.
And even when she finally hatched a batch of eggs, her friend took only one look at the offspring and said that they “Weren’t good enough”. That meant May had to put them in the PC (Which was getting dangerously full by now), wait for another batch of eggs to appear, and repeat the whole process again.
Every time she stopped to rest, she griml

To the Top in Two Ways: Chapter 2
“Flashy” was possibly the only word in the English language that could describe the contest hall. Other people probably would have said something such as “Stylish” or “Fancy”, but for May, “Flashy” was the only word that could possibly work for her.
The lights were brighter than the afternoon Slateport sun, the floors and the walls were decorated in a way that made it seem like there were sparkles pouring out of the walls and floor, and once again, May’s ears were assaulted, this time by pumping techno music.
The trainer sighed and shook her head. What did she get herself into?
It didn’t really matter at this point, though. For one reason or another, May let her intrigue get to her and she was going to see it through the end, no matter how bad of an idea it felt like.
Taking another deep breath, May exited the entrance corridor and into the hall itself. There were people everywhere, discussing contests, cooing about how beauti

To the Top in Two Ways: Chapter 1
May nearly tumbled out of the Slateport Oceanic Museum in a mix of exhaustion and relief. After two whole hours of training, she managed to thwart Team Aqua with her Electrike’s newly learned Spark and safely delivered the Devon goods to Captain Stern.
After having to go through all that, as well as having to fear getting beaten up by their boss Archie, she was just about ready to collapse. The trainer was dreading the hike up route 110, but she promised herself that she’d make good progress on the road to Mauville city before nightfall.
With a sigh, May approached the north exit, her Electrike following alongside, hoping she wouldn’t have to deal with any more crap for the rest of the day.
Of course, as the past week or two has proven, nothing was ever that simple for a girl like her.
Just before she could leave town, she heard eager chatting behind her back, accompanied by the sounds of a crowd forming.
“Hey! Hey! Did you hear? Lisia and Ali are going to be ma

How to Make a Memory: Chapter 2: Cycling road
May always thought that the strangest company tended to come from the simplest places.
Her most recent companion, Shauna was no exception. She was a Kalosian girl that always seemed to get her head in the clouds, and for some reason constantly shifted between a nervous and cheerful demeanor.
The strangest thing about her, though, was the fact that she had no goals for her journey, both this one and the one in Kalos. May wasn’t quite sure what was up with that. When she started her own journey, she had no idea what she wanted to do until she met Roxanne and decided to take on the gym circuit. Not having any goals for an entire journey, however, was another thing entirely.
Right now she was heading to Route 117, hoping to pick up yet another egg for a friend of hers. She explicitly specified that the Pokemon in question would be “contest worthy”, or whatever that meant.  How was a contest bred Pokemon different from a battle bred one? Ah well, she never understood

How to Make a Memory: Chapter 1: A New Horizon
Shauna’s eyes nervously scanned around the Pokemon center.  The line for the PC stretched all the way to the entrance, and being in the back of it made her sweat internally. She wanted to get her Pokemon as quickly as she could, since she only managed to arrive in Slateport city a couple of hours ago, and she had no idea how the locals felt about foreigners.
Know what? Next time, I’m going to a faraway region! I’ll be sure to make lots of memories while I’m there! The sentence repeated itself in her head over and over again as she slowly went through the line. Now, since she was actually in Hoenn, she wasn’t quite sure that it was a good idea. She was in a completely foreign location without anyone she could trust.
Shauna silently scoffed at that last part. As far as she knew, she didn’t have anyone she could trust. Not after the people she considered friends decided to leave her behind.
Now that she thought about it like that, the dark

So, if you're wondering why I haven't posted much recently... I'll admit, writing's been a slow process for me. Mainly since I'm writing a multi-Chaptered fanfic, and... honestly, I'm hoping to wait to post it until I have most of it done, just to be safe so I'll know I'll finish it and not just abandon it.

In the meantime, though, I'm also working on a One-Shot based on Fire Emblem Fates (Yeah, I'm Fates Trash, as you can probably tell by some of my favorites... XP), while I'm working on the chaptered story itself (And the one shot too) with my beta reader. I felt like I wanted to share a brief preview of it, for people who are interested, so... here it is!
______

“Okay, okay, I’ll just come out with it. Princess Camilla… You have a lot of suitors, don’t you?”

Oboro’s back suddenly went rigid as the voice of her liege suddenly shot through her mind, making her drop her needle. It fell on top of the dress without much of a sound, the spear master now looking down at her work with a dark scowl on her face.

Gods damn it… That’s the third time this happened this hour… She growled to herself as she felt her hands grabbing onto the table in anger. Why won’t these thoughts just go away?!

N-No, let’s not think about it right now… Oboro grit her teeth for a second before reaching down for her needle again.  Let’s just keep working, so-

“…Takumi, is… that a ring?”

The spear master went rigid again as she heard another voice in her head, this time belonging to Princess Camilla.  She could feel her eyes widening in horror, knowing full well what was coming next.

No, no, no, not again, not agai-

“Yes, I had it made specially for you. Princess Camilla…Will you marry me?”

Without thinking, Oboro quickly grabbed one of the pillows lying next to her on her bed and screamed into it. The last thing she wanted right now was for someone to come in and see her like this. Not when she was at her weakest.
____

And there ya have it! What do you think? Interested to see what's going on? Well, I'd say I'm making good progress, so hopefully it'll be finished soon!

Also this text is bold to separate my notes from the writing itself... Don't mind me XP

Oh! Hi there! I'm Bianca! I'm a huge Pokemon fan (Obviously), and I'm here to practice my writing. Most of the stuff I upload to here are my fanfictions, because I'm bad at drawing, sadly... XP

Some of my works are also on AO3, if you wanna see them there too!

A QUICK NOTE: I do tend to write Yuri, so if that's not your thing, this isn't the place for you. Sorry ^.^'

ANOTHER QUICK NOTE: Yeah, there's foot fetish artwork in my favorites, just in case. If that's not your thing either... sorry about that, but don't say I didn't warn you xux
